Eros & Psyche is a graphic novel concept created as part of a university module, illustrating the legendary Greek myth of the same name, in which Eros, son of Aphrodite and perhaps better known as Cupid, falls in love with the beautiful mortal princess, Psyche.

For the project, I studied retellings and analyses of the myth to extract the major narrative themes and researched the aesthetics of Ancient Greece to develop an illustrative approach tailored specifically to the story. I created character and setting designs for the key personalities and environments, and illustrated page samples to demonstrate the graphic novel in practice.
